Copper Sun
By: Sharon M. Draper
http://sharondraper.com/formal-biography.asp Copper Sun is a book that shows us how the slaves were treated back then. Sharon M. Draper did a very good job of explaining to us what the slaves had to go through and as well as what the white men were like back then. Copper Sun improves the fact slavery of our country by not allowing slavery into our country. Slavery is a rudely way to treat African Americans, in this case I do believe that Sharon M. Draper helped open people's eyes about allowing slavery. Yes, this book wasn't published until long after slavery was not entitle. When someone like me who has never read this book, and wouldn't think about reading it because of the cover. I had a very different opinion about this book.
Sharon M. Draper loved to write. She says that "her heart beats rapidly with excitement as an idea becomes a reality on the paper in fron of her." Sharon M. Draper says that she weeps at pain. Sharon's readers follow along with her on her journey. Sharon M. Draper has written numerous of books, articles and poems. Only a small number of things that she has written that I have found. Copper Sun was published in 2006. Sharon was a professional editor and writer.
